New CTMH consulant!!!!

Hello!!!!!

This will be my first blog ever!!! I'm kind of excited about it!! I have been working this blog for about two weeks and now.

Well first I want to officially introduce myself. My name is Lilian De La Rosa I'm married to my awesome hubby Erik and we have son named Damien who will turn five this April. I was born in Tijuana, BC Mexico and when I was very young my family and I moved to San Diego, CA. I'm the middle child and the only girl so growing up with two boys was very.... boring! Well sometimes. But it was okay I guess in my high school days I found some awesome girl friends that I consider my sisters. We all have kids now and we do almost everything together.

I first started scrapbooking when I was a junior in high school. Every time my girls and I would get together we always had some disposable cameras on hand and we ended up with sssoo many pictures. One day I decided to head to my nearest Michaels to look for an album and I found a collage binder that had blank pieces of paper, I think it was meant for journaling or drawing. But I really wanted to do something different so I found some paper, stickers and other embellishment’s that I liked. I started placing all our pictures in these collage binders and I had so much fun. It really just came naturally so ended up at Michaels every chance that I had. I ended up doing one album for my Junior and Senior year and then the first year after high school. Till this day I still have those binders, once in a while I take them out to remember all the good times:) after that I knew that scrapbooking was my passion!

After high school well "life" happen! I started school to get my Associates in Business Administration moved out of my mother’s house after getting a great job (still work there). Met my husband and had my son. After having my baby boy I decided to back to school to get my Bachelors in Healthcare Business Administration. Having a baby, going to school full time and working full time is HARD work! But I did it with the support of my husband, family and friends. With all this going on I completely stopped scrapbooking! I never knew how much I missed it until I graduated and my son became more independent. Little by little I started to get back into and after buying our first home in 2010 I took over our spare room and started to put together my Craft room (Craft Cave!) Now I need a bigger room!!! aagghh!!! The best thing I ever did was to buy my first Cricut machine. After that I went Cricut crazy!! Now I own three Cricut's, tons of cartridges, Cuttlebug, and a Gypsy. Don't think I bought these new... oh no!!! ProvoCraft items are not that affordable. All my machines and craft items where bought used (Ebay) or from the Michaels clearance section!! I LOVE to get a good deal!! I never pay full price!!! EVER!!! lol!!! oh and my favorite holiday is...... BLACK FRIDAY! lol!! People think I'm crazy when I tell them this! I think it’s funny!!!

Sssooo anyways! long story short... I just recently started getting into card making and stamping. And I LOVED it. I also started to make party invitations for my friends and family so I can get my creative juices going. Then just last year I bumped into Close To My Heart! I LOVED their products mainly because of their designs and quality and just a couple of weeks ago I became a CTMH consultant! I'm very excited to start this New Year 2013 doing something I love and teaching/helping others find their creative side!! Trust me!! Everyone has a creative side!! In this blog I will be blogging about my handmade crafts and showing you guys how awesome CTMH products are and how easy it is to create paper crafts!
